2. Finish up to exercise 11 in Blueprints.
Reading class: 1. finish vocabulary counting unknown words and write a plan for learning the words by the end of the semester.
2. Get books!
3. For Tuesday, 1/21:
Writing class: 1. Finish exercises in book (or handouts) up to exercise 7.
2. Write Journal Assignment #3: go into more detail on one of your specific goals mentioned in Journal #2 (or choose your own topic to write about).
3. Go to the "Blog" page on this website and comment on the latest blog entry with your best effort.
4. Get books!

Writing class: Journal Assignment #2: Tell me your goals for the next 3 years (This is a suggested topic, you can also choose to edit/revise a formal journal if you have many corrections to make -- or choose a different topic of your choice. This is due Friday, 1/17 at the beginning of writing class.
1. Journal Assignment #1: Tell me one interesting thing that happened over the winter break. If nothing interesting happened, tell me about an interesting day you had last year or during a different part of your life. This assignment is due Wednesday, January 15 at the beginning of class.
